Climate Action Network (CAN)

The Climate Action Network (CAN) is a global network of over 287 Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels. CAN members work to achieve this goal through the coordination of information exchange and NGO strategy on international, regional and national climate issues.

European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI)

EADI was founded in 1975 and is an independent and non-profit making international non-governmental organisation. It is an active network of 150 organisations with 14 working groups addressing key issues in Development Research, Training and Information. The group produces publications and offers conferences and seminars. It also has a training database online.

International Network of Engineers and Scientists for Global Responsibility (INES)

INES is an independent non-profit-organization, founded in 1991, concerned about the impact of science and technology on society. INES’ efforts focus on disarmament and international peace, ethics, justice and sustainable development. INES is affiliated with the United Nations and with UNESCO as a NON-Governmental Organization (NGO). INES is a network of nearly 100 organisations and individual members in over 40 countries worldwide.

Transparency International

Transparency International is a global non-governmental organisation established in 1993 devoted to combating corruption. TI works at both a national and an international level to curb the supply and demand of corruption. In the international arena, it raises awareness about the damaging effects of corruption, advocates policy reform, works towards the implementation of multilateral conventions and subsequently monitors compliance by governments, corporations and banks. At a national level, chapters work to increase levels of accountability and transparency, monitoring the performance of key institutions and pressing for necessary reforms in a non-party political manner.

World Economy, Ecology and Development (WEED) (...)

WEED was founded in 1990 and campaigns for a change in direction in international economic and development policies that would put more emphasis on social justice and environmental sustainability.
