Le projet rinoceros n’a pas disparu, il continue de vivre pour valoriser les points de vue des acteurs associatifs dans le monde dans le site Ritimo.

ItrainOnline

ItrainOnline is a joint initiative of seven organizations with expertise in computer and Internet training in the South. The ItrainOnline initiative aims to assist civil society organizations and other development actors in developing countries to confront the challenges posed by new information and communications technologies (ICTs).
Its website holds materials and annotated links to resources in English, Spanish, French and other languages, on topics ranging from computer and Internet basics to highly technical areas and the ways that civil society and development organizations can increase their impact using these tools.

African Centre for Technology Studies

The ACTS is a Nairobi-based international intergovernmental science, technology and environmental policy think-tank that generates and disseminates new knowledge through policy analysis, capacity building and outreach.
Its website holds various documents regarding Biodiversity and Environmental Governance, Energy and Water Security, Agriculture and Food Security, Human Health, Science & Technology Literacy, but also on Ecological Sources of African Conflicts, Transboundary Natural Resources Management, and Cross-Border Biodiversity.

Electronic Frontier Foundation

EFF was founded in 1990 to defend free speech, privacy, innovation, digital rights and consumer rights.
Its website displays information regarding Arbitration, Censorship and Free Speech, Intellectual Property and Fair Use, Privacy and Security, , CyberLaw Course, ISP Liability, Jurisdiction and Sovereignty, Legislation, Cases and Tools (especially for Online Activism). It also proposes Historical Freedom Documents and Net Culture Archives.

América Latina en Movimiento

ALAI is a communications organization committed to the full respect of human rights, gender equality and people’s participation in development and policy making in Latin America and views the struggle for the democratisation of communication as a basic prerequisite for democratic society and social justice. The agency offers resources and information services, produces publications, including the monthly magazine America Latina en movimiento, and helps to coordinate and network groups.
Its website, also available in Portuguese and Spanish, has news updates, a FTAA Watch, articles on the WSF and details of the women’s programme. See also the site movimientos.org, a web community of social movements in Latin America that it has contributed to.

Panos

Panos London was established in 1986 as a UK registered charity. Since 1996, Panos London has set up a network of regional offices in Southern Africa, Eastern Africa and South Asia. Panos aims to ensure that the perspectives of the people whose lives are most affected by development (mainly the poor and marginalised) are included within decision-making and that decisions are subject to their scrutiny and debate. Panos’ job is to make the immensely complex issues facing developing countries accessible and understandable, to provide information that people can trust, and to open up opportunities for different perspectives to be heard.
The website holds case studies, daily news bulletins, journalist briefs, reports and lists of publications.
