Cageprisoners

Cageprisoners.com is a non-sectarian Islamic human rights website that exists solely to raise awareness of the plight of the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay and other detainees held as part of the War on Terror. The web-site is not aligned to any Islamic group or organisation. The site was launched in October 2003 during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan by individual Muslim volunteers.

The site’s objective is to bring together information about reform of the international institutions. The editors do not necessarily share the opinions expressed by actors or in documents mentioned.
Users of this website will find generic lists of actors, events and documents relating to reform of the system of international institutions.

International Center for Transitional Justice

ICTJ assists countries pursuing accountability for past mass atrocity or human rights abuse. The Center works in societies emerging from repressive rule or armed conflict, as well as in established democracies where historical injustices or systemic abuse remain unresolved.
